Coolants — Glass Grinding and Polishing require sophisticated coolant technology.

ACECOOL 5679 is a fully synthetic coolant for edge working, drilling and sawing of automotive, architectural and furniture glass as well as technical glass. Furthermore it can be used for the following special applications: processing of borosilicate glass (edge working, sawing) crystal and lead crystal.
ACECOOL 6511 is a fully synthetic coolant for edge working, drilling and sawing of automotive, architectural and furniture glass.
ACECOOL 6553 is a fully synthetic high-performance coolant concentrate which was specifically developed for automotive glass processing at high feed rates.
ACECOOL 6563 is a fully synthetic coolant for edge working, drilling, sawing and beveling of automotive, architectural and furniture glass. Furthermore it can be used for high speed grinding of lead crystal glass.

Interleaving Powders

Flat glass requires a separation between the individual lites of glass for storage and transportation. This separation is commonly achieved in the flat glass industry by the use of interleaving powders. The interleaving powder allows for safe mechanical separation of the glass, prevents the damage caused by glass on glass contact, protects against scratching from glass chips and can protect the glass from surface corrosion by the addition of an acid.

BL-55 is an interleaving powder based on acrylic beads (PMMA) and boric acid (50% by weight). The polymer bead has a mean particle size of 150 microns. BL-55 is used as an interleaving powder if a very high protection against glass corrosion is required. Typical float line application is 200–400 mg/m2.
AL-55 is an interleaving powder based on acrylic beads (PMMA) and adipic acid (50% by weight). The polymer bead has a mean particle size of 125 microns. AL-55 is used as an interleaving powder if a high protection against glass corrosion is required. Typical float line application is 200–400 mg/m2.
CG-110 is an interleaving powder based on a special acrylic bead specifically designed for high performance soft coatings. The polymer bead has a mean particle size of 110 microns. CG-110 is used as an interleaving powder when no protection against glass corrosion is required. Typical application is 100–200 mg/m2.
UME is an interleaving powder based on an Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene specifically designed for pyrolytic hard coatings. This product has a mean particle size of 120 microns. UME is used as an interleaving powder when no protection against glass corrosion is required. Typical application is 100–200 mg/m2.
BB3565-HG is an interleaving powder based on acrylic beads (PMMA) and boric acid (35% by weight). The polymer bead has a mean particle size of 150 microns. BB3565-HG is used as an interleaving powder if a very high protection against glass corrosion is required. Typical float line application is 200–400 mg/m2.
AB3565-HG is an interleaving powder based on acrylic beads (PMMA) and adipic acid (35% by weight). The polymer bead has a mean particle size of 125 microns. AB3565-HG is used as an interleaving powder if high protection against glass corrosion is required. Typical float line application is 200–400 mg/m2.
AL-7525 is an interleaving powder based on acrylic beads (PMMA) and adipic acid (75% by weight). The polymer bead has a mean particle size of 125 microns. AL-7525 is used as an interleaving powder if high protection against glass corrosion is required. Typical float line application is 200–400 mg/m2.
