Visible Penetrants (Type II)

Ardrox 906 is a water washable color contrast penetrant, widely used in many industries for the detection of indications which are open to the surface of non-porous parts. Ardrox 906 is a dark red in color, allowing easy control and monitoring of the washing process.
Ardrox 906A is a visible light inspection penetrant as per the AMS 2644 Type 2 and EN ISO 3452 Part 2, Type II, which can be removed by water or solvents. It is used in non-destructive testing for the detection of defects such as cracks, laps, cold shuts, porosity, bursts, casting and welding discontinuities.
P6R is a penetrant system for flaw detection consisting of three aerosol products which are used in a sequence to reveal surface defects. The system consists of Ardrox P6R Red Penetrant, Ardrox 9D1B Developer and Ardrox 9PR50 Solvent Remover.
Checkmor 240 is a visible light inspection penetrant as per the AMS 2644 Type 2 and EN ISO 3452 Part 2, Type II, which can be removed by water or solvents. It is used in non-destructive testing for the detection of defects such as cracks, laps, cold shuts, porosity, bursts, casting and welding discontinuities.

Fluorescent Penetrants (Type I)

Water washable and solvent removable (Method A & C)

Ardrox 970P25E is a biodegradable water washable fluorescent penetrant with a sensitivity level 3. It consists of a mixture of biodegradable nonionic surfactants and fluorescent dyes without any mineral oil or hydrocarbon. The product gives crisp indications with exceptionally low levels of background and has excellent heat and UV fade characteristics.
Ardrox 9702, 9703, 9704 and 9715 are water washable fluorescent penetrants. These products give crisp indications with exceptionally low levels of background and have excellent heat and UV fade characteristics. They are ideal for electrostatic application.

Post-emulsifiable, lipophilic, and hyrophilic (Method B & D)

Ardrox 9812, 9813, and 9814 are fluorescent penetrants, to be used with a separate emulsifier. These products give crisp indications with exceptionally low levels of background fluorescence and have excellent heat and UV fade characteristics. They are ideal for electrostatic application.
Ardrox P136E is a level 4 water washable fluorescent penetrant, characterized by its controlled washability, which makes it less susceptible to over-washing. This high entrapment feature truly makes it unique in comparison to other water washable products. Flaw finding is enhanced by its excellent bleed back properties.
446 is a level 3 sensitivity water washable fluorescent penetrant. This product gives crisp indications with exceptionally low levels of background and have excellent heat and UV fade characteristics. It is ideal for electrostatic application.
Britemor 454 and 455 are water washable fluorescent penetrants. These products give crisp indications with exceptionally low levels of background and have excellent heat and UV fade characteristics. They are ideal for electrostatic application.
Britemor 755, 760, and 768 are fluorescent penetrants, to be used with a separate emulsifier. These products give crisp indications with exceptionally low levels of background fluorescence and have excellent heat and UV fade characteristics. They are ideal for electrostatic application.

Water-based (Method AW)

Britemor 921(W) is a next generation water-washable, fluorescent penetrant, classified as level 1 according to EN ISO 3452-2. It is suitable for the detection of defects, which are open to the surface.

Emulsifiers


Hydrophilic

Ardrox 9881 is a hydrophilic type emulsifier used for the removal of the Ardrox 981x series of post-emulsifiable fluorescent penetrants (Method D). It is to be diluted in water then applied by immersion or foam-on method.
H-92 is used as the removal medium for Britemor 700 Series Penetrants that have been spproved as Method D materials in accordance with the AMS 2644 document.

Lipophilic

Ardrox 9PR3 is a lipophilic (Method B) emulsifier formulated for use with the Ardrox 981 series of post emulsifiable fluorescent penetrants.

Developers


Form A

Ardrox 9D4A is a Form a, dry powder, developer. It is a homogeneous blend of synthetic white powders of very small particle sizes. It does not contain any mined materials. The product has very low impurity levels.
Xmor PD-3 is a Form a, dry powder developer. It is a homogeneous blend of synthetic white powders of very small particle sizes. It does not contain any mined materials. The product has very low impurity levels.

Form B

Ardrox 9D75 is a Form b water soluble developer. It is a free flowing, chromate-free white powder. When dissolved in water at the recommended concentration, it is an effective developer for Type I (fluorescent) dye penetrants.

Form D & E

Ardrox 9D1B is a liquid suspension of an inert white powder in a quick drying solvent with low sulphur, halogen and alkali metal content.
Ardrox NQ1 is a liquid suspension of an inert white powder in a quick drying solvent with low sulphur, halogen and alkali metal content.
LD7 and LD9 are liquid suspensions of an inert white powder in a quick drying solvent with low sulphur, halogen and alkali metal content.

Solvent Cleaners/Removers

Ardrox 9PR50 is a non-chlorinated, volatile solvent which is used for the removal of surface excess penetrant in the solvent removal process or wipe-off technique. Ardrox 9PR50 has a low sulfur and halogen content.
S-76 Remover (XMOR) is a class 2 Solvent Remover, used for the removal of excess surface penetrant in the Solvent Removal Process, (Method C). It is also an ideal material for the pre-cleaning of surfaces before the penetrant is applied. S-76 Remover (XMOR) is utilized to assist in the removal of oil, grease and other organic contamination.

Magnetic Particle Products


Black magnetic inks and contrast paints

Ardrox 8032 is a ready-to-use color contrast magnetic ink ideal for the inspection of ferromagnetic materials, structures and components by the magnetic particle inspection method. A typical application is the inspection of welds, pressure vessels and pipeline in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries as well as power plants.
Ardrox 8901W is a quick drying white paint which is designed specifically for the use in the color contrast method of magnetic particle inspection. It provides a dense white background against which black or red indications of defects can be seen readily. Ardrox 8901W is ideal for use with either oil based or water based magnetic inks.
Supramor 4 Black is a ready-to-use color contrast magnetic ink ideal for the inspection of ferromagnetic materials, structures and components by the magnetic particle inspection method. A typical application is the inspection of welds, pressure vessels and pipeline in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries as well as power plants.
WCP 712 is quick drying white paints which are designed specifically for the use in the color contrast method of magnetic particle inspection. WCP 712 provides a dense white background against which black or red indications of defects can be seen readily. WCP 712 is ideal for use with either oil based, or water based magnetic inks.

Dry magnetic powders

The Ferromor ND is a range of vividly colored magnetic powders that provide excellent color contrast against the test substrate, as well as good definition due to their particle size.

Fluorescent magnetic particle products & carrier oils

Ardrox 8505 consists of finely divided fluorescent magnetic particles which will fluoresce brilliant yellow-green under ultraviolet radiation with a predominant wavelength of 365 nanometers. The particles have been selected for their high magnetic response, low coercivity (to avoid coagulation) and prolonged operational life.
Ardrox 8506 Fluorescent Magnetic Particle Fluid consists of finely-divided fluorescent magnetic particles, dispersed in a hydrocarbon carrier fluid. It will fluoresce brilliant yellow/green under ultraviolet radiation with a predominant wavelength of 365 nanometers. Ardrox 8506 meets the requirements of AMS 3046.
ARDROX 8800A (Aerosol) is a ready-to-use fluorescent magnetic ink ideal for the inspection of ferromagnetic materials, structures and components by the magnetic particle inspection method. Ardrox 8800A consist of finely-divided fluorescent magnetic particles, dispersed in a hydrocarbon carrier fluid which will fluoresce brilliant yellow/green under ultraviolet radiation with a predominant wavelength of 365 nanometer.
LUMOR J (W) is a dry powder concentrate formulated to be dissolved directly into water to produce an aqueous fluorescent magnetic particle inspection fluid, ideal for the inspection of ferromagnetic materials, structures and components.
Lumor J (Powder) consists of finely divided fluorescent magnetic particles that will fluoresce a brilliant yellow/green under UVA light of 365nm peak wavelength. The particles have been selected for their high magnetic response, low coercivity (to avoid coagulation) and prolonged operational life. Lumor J is ideal for the inspection of ferromagnetic materials, structures and components in the Automotive, Construction, Petrochemical and Aerospace industries.
Lumor J 40 (W) is a suspension of fluorescent magnetic particles in an aqueous carrier fluid. Correct dilution of Lumor J 40 (W) with water provides a fluorescent magnetic particle inspection fluid which is ideal for the inspection of ferromagnetic materials, structures and components.
Lumor J Aerosol Concentrate consists of finely-divided fluorescent magnetic particles, dispersed in a hydrocarbon carrier fluid. Correct dilution into MPI Diluent HF will provide a ready-to-use fluorescent ink of same composition as Lumor J Aerosol.

Ultrasonic Couplants

UCA-2(M) is a bright blue transparent gel consisting of a blend of coupling agents, organic corrosion inhibitors and thickening agents. UCA-2(M) has marked thixotropic properties which ensure it stays in position when applied and does not drip or run from the part under test. The thixotropic and excellent wetting properties ensure free and even movement of ultrasonic probes over both rough and smooth surfaces with immediate and excellent acoustic transmission.
