These products are used prior to the manganese phosphate process to both condition the rinse water and to activate the surface in order to produce fine-grained coatings with complete surface coverage.
This product accelerates the manganese phosphate process, greatly shortening processing time while reducing sludge and increasing bath stability leading to a more robust process.
Gardobond G 4040 is a low temperature manganese phosphating process for iron and steel. The manganese phosphate coatings produced by Gardobond G 4040 reduce friction during break-in and improve the wear resistance of sliding parts such as engine and transmission parts.
