The Surface Treatment global business unit of the Coatings division of BASF, operating under the Chemetall brand, will present four key topics at the Powder Coating Institute Technical Conference on April 1–4, 2019 in Orlando, Florida.
Suresh Patel, Director, Tech Service and Marketing, Chemetall Mexicana, will present on optimization opportunities specific to powder coating application especially surface treatment and booth maintenance through the presentation: "Optimizing Your Powder Coating Operations."
Robert Bodak, Director, Process Equipment & Engineering, will present on "Process Control for the Pretreatment Industry." This presentation will demonstrate the benefits of an automated control process by optimizing the control parameters, and how Chemetall can help design a customized automated system through process digitalization.
Kirk Beaster, Application Specialist, will present on "Best Practices for Manual Pretreatment Applications." This session will offer recommendations to achieve consistent results when using manual equipment for pretreatment application.
Tomasz Slezak, Market Manager, Surface Treatment will present "Savings in Pretreatment Process" on how to reduce cost before powder coating with focus on savings through process optimization, changeover to thin-film technologies, reduction of carbon footprint and utilization of auxiliary equipment to extend bath life and process automation in line with Industry 4.0.
