Paint detackification treats paint overspray which is captured by a water source. This captured material is then detackified and dispersed using Chemetall's technology. This detackified paint can remain afloat using various flocculants or be allowed to sink depending on the removal method used.

Gardofloc 2000 is an inorganic/organic complex polymer specially formulated for effectively treating the water in water-wash paint spray booths. Added to the alkaline treated solution in the sump, the moderately acid polymer reacts and detackifies (kills) most paints. The resulting non-tacky flocculent produced will typically float, and, can be easily removed manually or with conventional sludge removal equipment such as consolidators or centrifuges.
Gardofloc Q 8528 is a specially formulated aqueous organic polymer solution for effectively treating the water in water-wash paint spray booths. Added to the alkaline treated solution in the sump, the moderately acid polymer reacts and detackifies (kills) most paints. The dry, non-tacky flocculent produced can be easily removed manually, or with cyclonic extractors or other conventional sludge removal equipment.
Gardofloc Q 8543 is a complexmixture of inorganic and organic polymers. It is a cationic coagulant that is effective in liquid/solid separation and detackification processes. It is especially effective as a paint detackifier in water wash booths.
Gardofloc Q 8721 is a liquid cationic coagulant which detackifies or "kills" over-sprayed paint in wet paint spray booth systems. The unique combination of primary actives in this product detackifies today's paints by chemically attacking the paint resin and by encapsulation of broken-down paint particles.
Gardobond Additive H 7091 is a highly concentrated antifoam / defoamer designed to control foam in process water systems such as paint spray booths, water scrubbers and power washers.
Gardobond Additive H 7091 controls foam by reducing the surface viscosity or elasticity of the foam bubbles. When this occurs, the bubble is destabilized and the tendency for a foam network to form is minimized.
By controlling foam build-up, Gardobond Additive H 7091 can offer the following benefits:

Gardofloc Q 8745 is a highly concentrated, general purpose, non-silicone antifoam / defoamer, used in paint spray booths and other process water systems. It is supplied as an organic liquid. Gardofloc Q8745 is effective at any pH but is most efficient at pH levels below 11 and temperatures up to 140°F.
Gardofloc PDF 560 is a deaerating defoamer which prevents the formation of foam due to excess turbulence. It is supplied as an organic liquid. Gardofloc PDF 560 is effective at any pH but is most efficient at pH levels below 9 and temperatures up to 140°F.
Gardofloc PFC 160 is recommended for use in paint detackification applications as a flotation/ dewatering aid in centrifuges, flotation cells, filters and other liquids/solids separation equipment. Gardofloc PFC 160 is and easy to feed liquid emulsion, cost effective flotation and dewatering aid polymer which improves spray booth water quality and reduces floc carryover.
Gardofloc Q 8740 is a high molecular weight cationic emulsion polymer. This product is designed to work in conjunction with Chemetall Detac products as a spray booth sludge conditioning aid.
Gardofloc Q 8544 is a high molecular weight polyelectrolyte in liquid form. Gardofloc Q 8544 is recommended for use in paint detackification applications as a flotation/dewatering aid in centrifuges, flotation cells, filters and other liquids/solids separation equipment. Gardofloc Q 8544 is an easy to feed liquid solution, cost effective flotation and dewatering aid polymer which improves spray booth water quality and reduces floc carryover.
